FLYTTE A clothes dryer is awkward to carry and too big for most cars. FLYTTE books a moving team to collect it from a shop, a seller or your old place and carry it into the laundry at the other end. Pick Dryer in the item list, enter the two addresses and see your price straight away.
Dryers, washers and stacked pairs
Moving a washer and dryer together? Add both items and they go in the same trip, which costs far less than two separate jobs.
A stacked pair comes apart before it travels. If the bracket needs tools, take it off before the crew arrives or mention it in the notes.
Before the crew arrives
The crew moves the appliance, they do not disconnect or connect water, power or gas. Have it unplugged, emptied and, for anything plumbed in, the hoses or pipes disconnected before they arrive.
Clean the lint filter and close the door with tape so it cannot swing open on the trolley.
Price and timing
The price depends on the distance between the two addresses, stairs at either end, and whether you need one mover or two. You see the exact price as soon as you enter the addresses, before you pay a small deposit. The rest is paid on the day once the job is done.
In Auckland, Hamilton and Taranaki the calendar shows the earliest time a team can be there, often the same day. If today is full, the next free slot is shown.
