FLYTTE Titirangi is beautiful and it is also one of the trickier places in Auckland to move furniture. Homes sit in the bush on steep sections, many with long driveways, steps or a path down to the door. FLYTTE crews handle it when they know what to expect.
Moving in Titirangi
The single most useful thing you can do is describe the access: how steep the driveway is, whether a truck can get down it, and how many steps there are to the door. That decides the crew size and the time, and it keeps your price accurate.
Many Titirangi homes are on several levels. Add the stairs at either end when you book.
Driveways and roads
Some driveways are too steep or narrow for a moving truck. Then the truck parks on the road and the crew carries from there, which takes longer. Tell us in the notes and we will plan around it.
Roads through Titirangi and out to Laingholm and Waiatarua are winding, so allow a little extra travel time on hourly moves.
Booking and pricing
Enter your pickup and drop-off addresses at flytte.co.nz, choose a single item, an hourly move, or a full move, and your price appears straight away. Pick a day and time slot and pay a small deposit to lock it in; the balance is paid to your crew on the day.
Most single-item jobs across Auckland come to between about $80 and $150. Small flat moves on an hourly rate typically come to about $270 to $370 in total. Stairs and access are priced in when you enter them, and you can reschedule free with 24 hours' notice.

Can you move a home with a steep driveway?+
Yes. Tell us about the driveway in your notes so the crew plans the carry.
