FLYTTE September 2026: a single bed mattress, a large bookcase, a chest of drawers, a single bed base and a large chest of drawers, moved from Korito to Westown. Booked online through FLYTTE with the price set up front.
The move
It's about a 22km drive from Korito to New Plymouth. Two movers handled it.
Tips if you are moving the same things
Chests of drawers are easiest to carry with the drawers taped shut, or with the drawers taken out and carried separately if they are heavy.
Strip the bed and take the frame apart before moving day if you can. Keep the bolts in a bag taped to the headboard so nothing goes missing.
