FLYTTE In May 2026, someone needed a dining Table, 2 chest of Drawers and a washing Machine moved from Remuera to Ponsonby, and booked it on FLYTTE in a couple of minutes.
The move
It's about a 7km drive from Remuera to Ponsonby. Three movers handled it.
Tips if you are moving the same things
Chests of drawers are easiest to carry with the drawers taped shut, or with the drawers taken out and carried separately if they are heavy.
Turn off the taps and drain the hoses before a washing machine is moved, and fit the transit bolts if you still have them.
If the table legs come off, removing them makes it far easier to fit through doors and into the van.
